Project Criteria
- We have several criteria which we use to determine if a project is complementary & appropriate.
- We participate in projects that: (1) we can conceive & deliver; (2) will improve the current location; (3) allow us to put sustainability principles into practice; (4) are challenging, fun, & a source of pride; (5) involve people we like working with; (6) that can deliver an appropriate return, commensurate with the time, effort, & risk undertaken.
Mixed Use Projects
- Residential development is now a major part of our mixed use, urban regeneration, & inter-generational thinking. Mixed use is a one-off concept which requires that we pay particular attention to finding the right combination of property use & operators.
- We purposefully attract an eclectic mix of specialist, independent locals, & investors to animate our projects & make them lively, distinctive, & successful. At times, mixed use development can create a range of conflicts, problems, & issues. Noise, smells, traffic, deliveries, & parking, we handle these issues, by crafting careful & creative solutions to layout, design, leasing, management, & long-term stewardship.
